Payment purchases the production and distribution described in an agreed package. It does not guarantee approval, conceal a commercial relationship, or change our accuracy, rights, safety, and editorial checks.
How sponsored work is labeled
- Sponsored appears on story and directory cards.
- Sponsored appears at the top of the article.
- A disclosure explains the material relationship near the story's commercial call to action.
- Sponsored outbound links use appropriate relationship attributes.
Editorial review still applies
TechStart may request evidence, remove unsupported language, ask for image rights or credits, reject unsuitable material, or delay publication until required information is complete. A completed payment never publishes a story automatically.
Changes, refunds, and disputes
Full refunds are available until TechStart begins production. After production begins, payment is non-refundable except when TechStart cannot deliver the agreed package; in that case, TechStart refunds the undelivered portion. Delivered or published work is non-refundable. A payment dispute pauses delivery while the campaign is reviewed.
